Call Extended to Mr. Tim Schubkegel
Our School Board has issued a divine Call to Mr. Tim Schubkegel, currently
serving at Our Saviour Lutheran School in Lake Havasu, AZ, to join our teaching
staff. His Call is to be Principal, teach in our upper grades, and serve as
Athletic Director. Mr. Schubkegel writes,
“On March 12, 2008 the Holy Spirit led you to call me as principal of your school, serve as athletic director, and to teach in your upper grades. What a blessing it is to be able to serve our almighty and resurrected Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in His kingdom and to be given the blessed work of sharing His gospel saving message! Jam now faced with the opportunity to deliberate on the two Calls the Lord has laid before me, as principal and teacher of Our Saviour Lutheran School in Lake Havasu, AZ and serving at Holy Cross Lutheran School in Madison, WI. As the Holy Spirit leads and guides me in this decision, my family and I ask for your prayers as to where the Lord would have me serve in His kingdom. May our heavenly Father continue to bless your church and school, and may the joy of our resurrected Lord and the hope of the heavenly life to come fill your lives.”
In His Service,
Tim Schubkegel

Local Businesses Contribute to Holy Cross School!
If you went to Woodman’s and bought $100 worth of groceries, and the check-out
person asked, “Would you like Woodman’s to keep all $100, or would you like
Woodman’s to keep $95 and contribute $5 to Holy Cross Lutheran School...” What
would you answer? If you’re going to make purchases, and you know that the
business would contribute a portion of the purchase price to our school, it’s
great stewardship to take advantage of that offer. Everyone wins! The school
wins, local businesses get your business and you don’t spend a penny more.
That’s what “Scrip” is! For more information on how to participate and a list of
the many businesses that participate, contact the school office at 249-3101!

Catch-up Offering!
Thank you for the wonderful response to our recent special offering request!
Holy Cross has generously received nearly $9,000 thus far. While the church has
