Summer Service Times
We will return to the regular service times after Labor Day.
Gone on the Weekend
While the youth are out of school, summer is a time for trips and vacations. If
you are gone for the weekend, remember that Holy Cross has a Monday evening
worship service at 6:30pm. Or call the church office and ask for ELS or WELS
churches that are located near where ~ou will be.
Annual Voter’s Meeting
Sun., June 29 after 2nd service
All voting members are encouraged to attend. The agenda will include:. 2008-2009
Budget, Board and Committee elections and Release of Endowment Fund income.
Annual Reports are available for all Holy Cross members and are on the wooden
tables in the Narthex at church.
School Rummage Sale
Friday, July 18 & Sat., July 19
Please start bringing in your items for the summer rummage sale. If you
already have items, you may drop them off in the showers in the gym locker
rooms. Thanks!
Vacation Bible School
Mon., July 7—Fri., July11 9:00am - 11:30am
Sign up your child(ren) for this year’s VBS. Send your children, ages 3-12
(preschoolers need to be potty trained), to Holy Cross VBS! To register please
contact Holy Cross at 249-3101. We’ll be singing, making crafts, finding,
following, knowing, believing and sharing Jesus, enjoying snacks and juice and
making friends!
Thank you to all of you who have already volunteered your services for VBS this year. We are still in need of people to help with VBS. Look in the bulletin this Sunday and check areas you can help. Thanks!
Wednesday Mornings
Wednesday mornings are special mornings at Holy Cross. During the summer at
10:00am we gather in the church basement for coffee, treats and a study of God’s
Word. Currently we are studying the Book of Acts. If you have Wednesday mornings
free, come and join other Holy Cross members for fellowship, gathered around
God’s Word.

the IRS, please keep Holy Cross’ needs in your thoughts. As was recently
presented by our Board for Stewardship and Finance, this has been a very

Men’s Bible Study
The men who meet each Wednesday morning at 6:30am during the school year in
the school library, invite you to join them. They will be beginning a study of
the Gospel of Matthew starting the Wednesday after Labor Day Weekend. Please

If you have a child going to Camp Indianhead and have not yet turned in the
