Volunteers Needed
Our English As a Second Language staff needs more volunteers at this time. Our most urgent need is for someone who can do child care from 10:30 to 12 on Saturday mornings while the parents study English. Contact Grace Bartel (238-7069, bartelfg@yahoo.com) if you can occasionally help out. If you prefer working one-on-one with a student trying to learn English, we can use volunteers for that also. You get to choose the time when you want to work with the student. We provide training (a one-hour class) and it’s not as hard as you think. It’s a great opportunity to get to know someone of another culture and to talk about Christ.

Our Jesus Cares staff, which helps developmentally disabled students learn about their Savior, can use additional help on the first and third Saturdays from mid-September through May. For more information, contact Grace Bartel (238-7069, bartelfg@yahoo.com).

Scrip News!
Just a reminder that Scrip is available between services on Sunday mornings. There is a table with forms in the entryway by the gym. Also, we have some cash and carry (Woodmans, PDQ and Copps/Pick & Save) you may purchase during the week as long as a secretary is available to get it out.
