Packer/Viking Party!
Sun., November 9 at 11:30am
Mark your calendars and come and watch the game on a big screen in the cafeteria. We are asking everyone to bring finger food snacks. Plates, napkins, utensils, cups and drinks will be provided. We will have the gym open for the kids.

Sunday School
We hope that all Holy Cross children will attend Sunday School! Sunday School is for children ages 3 – high school. In Sunday School our children learn and are reinforced in their Bible knowledge. It’s a great setting for our public and parochial students to get to know one another and fellowship with one another. It’s also a prime opportunity for parents to attend Adult Bible Class while children are at Sunday School, and instill in your children a lifelong habit of regular Bible Study with other Christians!

Bethany National Auxiliary Day
Monday, Sept. 22nd at Bethany in Mankato, MN
President Dan Bruss writes, "Bethany Women’s Auxiliary Day will be Monday, September 22, and we hope it will be possible for you to attend. It is a wonderful opportunity for good Christian fellowship and to become better acquainted with the great things going on at Bethany Lutheran College. We have put together an enjoyable and informative program for you. Husbands are invited as well. We appreciate your support and enthusiasm for your college.

As the projects are now chosen on a year-to-year basis, a decision will have to be made regarding new efforts. Information regarding possible projects will be given at the business meeting."

Bethany Getaway
October 30 – November 2
Bethany Lutheran College invites juniors and seniors in high school to spend a FREE weekend on their campus. The bus will leave the Holy Cross parking lot at 1:30pm that Thursday and return at 1:30pm that Sunday. (Students will be asked for a $40 deposit that will be returned when they arrive on the campus.) Learn more about the ‘Bethany Experience’ by participating in chapel, visiting with faculty and touring the campus. Whatever activities you choose you will be sure to feel like a college student. The best part is that Bethany will pay for the entire cost of lodging, food, and events while on campus. All you are asked to bring is clothes, sleeping bag, pillow and spending money. So talk to your friends and see if this weekend works for you.

For more information call Bethany’s Admission Office today at 1-800-944-3066.

Ushers Needed
A special thank you to all of the men who usher for us on Sunday morning and Monday evening! Did you know that there are about 40 men who usher for our services? Recently we have had some of our ushers move away to college or move out of town and are now in need of some new ushers. Do you know of a confirmed male who would be able to help? Please call David Mathison at 839-3017. Thanks!
