Adult ministries

Bible studies
Jesus said, "If you hold to my teachings, you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free."

Bible studies help us to know the truth and to hold to Christ's teachings. They also serve as a way for people to get to know one another and share their Christian faith and life. Most groups meet September through May; contact the church office for more details. Our class schedules are:

Sunday
    • Adult Bible Class—The Word of God causes participants to grow in faith and in the knowledge of Jesus Christ. We meet in the gymnasium every Sunday at 9:30 a.m., September through early May.
Monday
    • Adult Information Class
—Study the basic doctrines of the Lutheran Church in a 10-week course taught by both pastors. This class is offered three times during the year, in spring, summer and fall. It usually meets on Mondays at 7:30 p.m.
Tuesday
  • Bible Study—Meets from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the church cafeteria.
Wednesday
    • Men's Bible Study—
Meets every Wednesday morning from 6:30 to 7:30 a.m. in the school library. We enjoy Bible study around coffee and rolls.
    • Women's Bible Study—
Meets every Wednesday morning at 6:30 a.m. at church. We discuss various topics throughout the year.
    • Wednesday Morning Bible Class
—The purpose is to study the Word of God so that growth in faith will take place. Meets in the cafeteria every Wednesday from 10 to 11 a.m.
Thursday
  • Hannah Bible Study—
Some of the women of the congregation gather to open their Bibles and share their faith. Meets in the homes of various members on the second Thursday of each month at 7 p.m.
Friday
  • Book Club—meets from 7 to 7:30 a.m. in one of the school classrooms.
Saturday
  • Jesus Cares—Bible study for developmentally disabled adults. Meets 10 to 11:30 a.m. in the church on the first and third Saturdays of the month.
