Youth ministries

Holy Cross Lutheran School
Our Lutheran school serves children in grades pre-K3 through 8 and offers an excellent education in a Christ-centered environment.

Confirmation class

For children in grades 7 and 8, confirmation class is offered at two times:
  • Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 8 to 9 a.m. for children who attend Holy Cross Lutheran School
  • Wednesday afternoons from 4:30 to 6 p.m. for home-schooled children and those who attend other schools.

Bible studies

Sunday High School Youth Bible Study—
A weekly Bible class for youth in grades 9-12. Meets in the school library Sundays at 9:30 a.m. September through May.

Sunday School
  •
Sunday School—Classes for children in preschool through grade 8. Meets Sunday mornings from 9:15-10 a.m., except during the summer.
  • Sunday Children's Message—Designed for children ages 3-10. During our Sunday worship services, we set aside a special time for the children. It is our hope that these messages increase their faith and help them realize they are important members of the congregation.
Vacation Bible School

Offered for children ages 3 through grade 6, this Christian education is held at the church and school one week in summer.

Camp Indianhead
A fun and rewarding getaway for children ages 10 through 16. This one-week summer camp combines fellowship, activities and Bible study in a outdoors setting with children from other area Evangelical Lutheran Synod churches.

Lutheran Youth Association High School summer convention

This trip is for confirmed youth. Each summer (usually in late July or early August), our synod's Lutheran Youth Association hosts a national convention at varying locations for all confirmed young people in our synod.

Monthly family activities
Family activities occur throughout the year and involve youth, parents and members of the congregation. Watch our calendar for more information.
