I am the a.m. kindergarten teacher. I celebrated my 35th year in the teaching ministry at the end of the 2009-2010 school year. This was my 20th year at Holy Cross. I have also taught at St. Peter's in Schofield (Wausau area), Wisconsin; Immanuel in Waukegan, Illinois; and Jordan in West Allis, Wisconsin. I have taught 4th, 5th and 6th grades, as well as preschool and kindergarten. Most of my experience is at the kindergarten level. In the afternoon I am a pharmacy technician at the Medicine Shoppe Pharmacy in Monona.

I was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, but grew up 20 miles west of Milwaukee in the then-little town of Hartland. I attended Hartland Elementary and went to high school at Wisconsin Lutheran High in Milwaukee, where I graduated in the top-10 of my class. I then attended what was then a 2-year college, Wisconsin Lutheran College, where I graduated summa cum laude. I finished my college training at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, graduating cum laude with a bachelor of science degree in elementary education.

I been married to my husband, Jim, for 35 years. We have two grown children—Jeffrey and Bethany—and a lovable dog, Zeke. My special interests are cooking and crafts. My love for crafts has evolved into a hobby of making banners for church and gifts. Over the years, I have made hundreds of banners in gratitude to God for all the blessings He has bestowed upon me and my family.
