I graduated with a bachelor of science degree in elementary education with a minor in English from Mankato State University, Mankato, Minnesota. I also attended the University of Northern Iowa, where I received my reading certification. My husband is Rev. Mark Marozick. We have four children: Jonathan, Paul, Christine and David. We also have been blessed with three granddaughters. This is my fifth year at Holy Cross Lutheran School, Madison, Wisconsin. During my first year at Holy Cross, I taught a combination of 3rd and 4th grades. For my second year, I taught just the 3rd grade. The last three years I taught 1st grade. For the 10 years before that, I taught various combinations of grades from preschool through 4th grade at Western Koshkonong Lutheran School, Cottage Grove, Wisconsin. I taught Title I reading to 5th and 6th graders in New Hampton, Iowa. My first teaching experience was at Saude Lutheran School, Lawler, Iowa, where I taught grades four through eight and then at Norseland Lutheran School, Norseland, Minnesota, where I taught kindergarten through 8th grade. God has truly blessed me with a variety of teaching experiences. This is my 20th year of teaching. My special interests are reading, quilting, playing piano and walking. I enjoy creating handmade quilts for my children and grandchildren. I love to read and to help children learn the intricacies of reading. It is an amazing process to watch. I am always thrilled as the children grow in their reading knowledge. |
