I was born in Columbus, Wisconsin. I am the oldest of three children. I grew up in Waterloo and Deforest, Wisconsin, attending St. John's and Eastside Lutheran schools. I went to Lakeside Lutheran High School then Dr. Martin Luther College. I am married and have two daughters: Mariah and Kailey. Mariah attends Lakeside and Kailey comes to Holy Cross with me. We also have two cats who are new to our family. We live in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin. Before I began teaching at Holy Cross, I worked at daycare centers, did home daycare, and had a few odds and ends jobs. I have been at Holy Cross since 1992. I have mainly taught preschool, but also taught 3rd and 4th grades part time. Currently, I am teaching afternoon kindergarten. I like to help out in coaching volleyball and cheerleading.
