I was born in Chicago, Illinois, and grew up in Brookfield, Wisconsin, and New Ulm, Minnesota. I received a Christian education from my parents and attended St. Paul’s Lutheran grade school and Minnesota Valley Lutheran High School in New Ulm, Minnesota; Northwestern College in Watertown, Wisconsin; and Dr. Martin Luther College in New Ulm, Minnesota. I received my Bachelor of Science degree in education in 1988 and was called to teach at Calvary Lutheran in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, until 2000. I also have taught at Immanuel Lutheran in Hadar, Nebraska (2000-2003), and Our Saviour Lutheran in Lake Havasu City, Arizona (2003-2008), before accepting the call in 2008 as principal of Holy Cross. I am married to wife Angie and we have been blessed with two girls and two boys. I currently am the principal, athletic director, and instructor for various classes in grades 5-8.
