On behalf of the faculty and staff of Holy Cross Lutheran Church and School in Madison, Wisconsin (Evangelical Lutheran Synod), greetings to you in the name of our risen Savior Jesus Christ.

We are blessed to be able to offer an excellent Christian education to your children here at Holy Cross Lutheran School (HCLS). Consider the many positive opportunities we offer:

HCLS provides a Christ centered education, teaches daily Bible history classes, daily devotions, and holds weekly chapel services.
HCLS teaches grades preK3 through grade eight in the light of God’s Word. Kindergarten classes run all day.
HCLS students consistently achieve high national test scores.
The HCLS student-teacher ratio is approximately 15:1.
We follow a traditional school calendar, beginning classes in late August and ending in May.
School hours are from 8 a.m. to 3:15 p.m., with before- and after-school care available.
We offer a number of extracurricular opportunities, including choir, band, strings and a strong athletic program.
Non-member tuition is competitive with any Madison area private school. Tuition for families of other Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod and Evangelical Lutheran Synod congregations is set at the same significantly reduced rate as that for members of Holy Cross Lutheran Church.

Holy Cross parents say:
A Christian education for our children is very important to us. We have decided to drive 30 miles from Poynette to Madison to get our children to Holy Cross because we saw the value of sending our children to a school that puts an emphasis on God's Word every day. The teachers at Holy Cross not only incorporate Christian values, but also give the students an excellent education in the core classes. We have always been proud of the fact that Holy Cross students score well above average on the state standardized Terra Nova tests, when compared to other private and public schools. Our children have also had the opportunity to participate in several extracurricular activities, including volleyball, basketball, band and piano. Holy Cross is a school where our children are being prepared for future advanced education and will be able to meet the demands of a challenging world, all with a Christian outlook.
