Through donations, 50+ new books have been purchased, 100+ Accelerated Reader quizzes have been purchased. An updated list of desired books is on the PTO bulletin board, as well as donation forms for purchasing them.Box Tops
Suzi will mail them this week, she expects to receive $360-$400. We were asked us to consider using this money toward the purchase of a new "sick couch" for Jenny Patten’s office along with a plastic cover for it.Silent Auction

Fundraising
We finally received a check for $139 but this is considerably lower than expected. Vendor is not returning calls so we will be looking into other options.

Katie Tweit will step down from this committee at the end of this school year.

Non-Academic
141 people paid to attend the Kalahari on February 15. Everyone thought it went well.
Promotional
Fliers were made and distributed advertising the school Open House on Thursday, the 26th.
Evangelism wants to have us participate in the Memorial Day Parade in Monona.
Scrip
Jenny Patten will step down from Scrip at the end of the school year. We will need to brainstorm as to how to replace her. Many thanks to Jenny for her involvement in this highly profitable fundraiser for the school.
We discussed the need to do more advertising/education on the Scrip program.
Scrip profit so far is $6,802.30 which is down from this time last year.
Social Events
PTO Coffee Hour is March 15th. This one will ask grades 4-8 to participate. A note will go out in the News for You.
Teacher Appreciation
Teacher Appreciation Week is the first week in May. Suzi with be putting together a "Thanksgiving" meal for their lunch on Friday. She asked committee members to make some desserts.
We discussed possibilities for gifts and a contest much like last year’s.
Administrative Assistant gifts have been purchased.
Yearbook
They have volunteers lined up if help is needed.
