Library Donation Recap
We have exceeded our goal for the school year. 110 books and 320 Accelerated Reader quizzes were purchased with the money donated for this purpose.Cabinet for Jenny Patten’s Offcie

Discussed possibility of hanging past class photos in the cafeteria. There was some interest though PTO might not be the venue to do this through.Books for the 8th Grade Class
$275 minus the cost of the corsages is available for Mr. Schubkegel to use for this purchase. Discussed possibility of getting them something other than a book.

Friday Lunchroom
3 gift certificates have been purchased to give to the 3 women who have volunteered the most this past school year.
Fundraising
Still looking into setting a date for the Rummage Sale this summer. One possibility is Friday and Saturday, July 17-18.

Promotional
A signup sheet for people to participate in the Memorial Day parade was up in the narthex. Donations of candy to hand out along the parade route were requested.
There is a conflict if the Junior Choir is requested to sing at the State Capitol. It is as the same time as the parade.
Our church is looking into the possibility of hosting a blood drive for the Red Cross.
Scrip
Teresa, Jenny, Stewart and Katie are still talking over dividing up some of the duties.
Volunteers signed up to sell Scrip during the month of May.
Will put an announcement for Scrip in the Sunday bulletin.
Social Events
The Big Event will be held in the Gym. Popcorn and water and lemonade. Nedra Griffin will look into getting the beverages in bottles.
Note will need to go in future News for You issues requesting sundae toppings for Recognition Night.
Teacher Appreciation
Teacher Appreciation Week is the first week in May. Suzi has been gathering many prizes for use with some games she is coming up with for the week.
Suzi will need some people to volunteer to make desserts for the teacher’s lunch on Friday, May 8th.
We voted to scale back the end-of-the-year staff lunch to only include staff and spouses.
Anniversary gifts: need to make sure we have gifts for Pastor Tweit, Mrs. Marty, Mrs. Martin, and Mrs. Ibeling.
Recognition Night, Suzi has her speech ready, discussed need for it to be short.
Yearbook
Pages are getting completed.
Next Meeting to be Tuesday, May 26th at 6:00 p.m. at the Olive Garden restaurant by East Towne.
